About David. David is a graduate student and teaching assistant in the Health Psychology Graduate Programme at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. His doctoral research involves an investigation of stress and coping in an interpersonal context among Canadian paramedics. Other interests within psychology include spirituality, meaning-making, the self, sexuality and gender, and dreams as a source of meaning. Interests are particularly strong in the humanistic, existential, and transpersonal paradigms.

Working steadily towards a career in psychology, David has parallel interests in holistic/integrated healthcare, environmentalism, and the philosophy of religion. With a long-standing passion for writing and a recently discovered enthusiasm for public speaking, he is determined to make a positive contribution to the global community. David is currently living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
