It is everything to me...
by David B. King (2002)

Beneath the floors of time and again
Came the impression of a tiny round man.
And in his light he spoke of such words
As joy and love and - well, you’ll get the works.

“See, you must see,” spoke the tiny round man.
“The time is now and the time is the present.
This is it and this is now and this is every thing you wanted.
Now is this and now is it and now is when all time will let it
Be!”

“It IS the moment to be, and to give yourself away.”
And right then the tiny round man began to sway and sway.
“Beckon the gods! Beckon your soul! Beckon your fellow man!
What is there will not survive and what is there will not
Be!”

“It will not be,” sighed the tiny round man, and he lowered his hands.
“It will not be if it is not screamed! shouted! yelled! announced! to all
Who fly above the clouds and all who dance between the dreams.
For NOW is the time and NOW is the place the gods will let it
Be!”

“Now is this and now is it,” whispered the tiny round man.
“Grab hold of the shadows by the neck and light them up
For all the world to see and all of time to be and all of you to love!
Love!” whimpered the tiny round man. “Love is always and love must
Be!”

“And yet we’re only wasting time, this the gods can see.”
And beneath the floors of time and again, weakened the light of the tiny round man.
“For I’ve said it here twice and I’ll say it twice again.
Now is it and now is this and now is when all time will let it
Be!”

“It is everything and it is nothing just the same, perhaps as life itself will be.
Yet this I know is true,” cried the tiny round man. “This I know of me.
From joy I will beckon aloud! shout! scream! yell! announce! to all of my dreams.
And with it, here and now and somewhere in the present, love will bring me every thing!”

Beneath the floors of time and again
Faded the impression of a tiny round man.
And in his dying light came a whisper, twice again.
“Now is this and now is it and now is when all time will let it
Be!”

“Let it be! For it is love and it is every thing to me!”
